2. First Aid - Introduction

Course Description

Medical emergencies can occur any time, in any setting. Incidents such as falls, road accidents, and sudden illnesses like heart attack or stroke can be life threatening if medical aid is not available at once.

This e-Learning module explains the basics of providing care to a casualty, what you need to know before and after providing care and the precautions you should take while helping a casualty.

3. First Aid Emergencies

Course Description

This e-Learning module explains how to recognize breathing emergencies in a casualty and details methods of providing care to a casualty with breathing difficulties and respiratory distress.
